Hello! My name is Floyd and I am a photographer based on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. I love film cameras and shooting film. I use a unique blend of both digital and film for weddings and photo sessions. Landscape photography is what initially drew me in, but telling a story through photographs with true emotions is why I love capturing people and weddings.

My goal is to create timeless images of your special day so that when you look at your photos years from now, it brings back those emotions and you remember the story you created. My approach to photography is intuitive influenced by photojournalism and fine art. I live by the golden rule of treating others as you would like to be treated. True fact— I end up being friends with my clients...that’s probably the best part of photographing others.

When I'm not behind the lens, I enjoy spending time with my family, drinking coffee, running (very slowly) and watching sports. I have 2 kids, Caleb (7) and Harper (5) (yes, I know I need to update that family photo), and I somehow managed to trick my beautiful wife into marrying me. I enjoy the outdoors but I could spend hours working on DIY projects around the house or just watching Netflix all day.
